Go on an interesting tour of Danish and Scandinavian history from a Danish perspective. Packed with insight into Danish history and culture. - You will be on a guided tour of the real Hamlet Castle. (Kronborg) - Having the opportunity to, on your own hand see the magnificent renaissance place of Frederiksborg built in the 1700 century by one of the most famous kings of the at that time, the dual monarchy of Denmark-Norway. - There will be arranged a pickup from Hillerød (1500 CET/3 PM), which will take the traveler back to the Cruise Ship Terminal in Copenhagen, arriving no later than 1700/5 PM. - Guide and Driver: English-speaking only Take a ½-day tour out of Copenhagen to spend time at interesting historical sites. - Infotainment!, that's what we call it. Not so many facts that you lose yourself in years, Kings, and wars. And neither so humor and fun that it becomes a comedy. But a gentle mix of facts presented in an easy-going way and a twinkle in the eyes, by our excellent driver and guide. - The tour guide will take you to visit the real Castle of Shakespeare's Hamlet of Kronborg. - At Kronborg Castle, you will be introduced to Danish history concerning the Castle from the Kalmar Union to the end of the dual Monarchy of Denmark-Norway, back before the mid-1900 century. - On the way from Kronborg, the tour will take you through the beautiful North Zealand landscape with forests and small villages. - Arriving in the town of Hillerod. Here you will on, your own, experience the incredible Renaissance Frederiksborg Palace. - In the town of Hillerod you can also have your lunch(you will have around 3 hours in Hillerod from the bus arrives till the pick for the return to your ship) - Pickup from Hillerod (1500 CET/3 PM), which will take the traveler back to the Cruise Ship Terminal in Copenhagen, arriving no later than 1700/5 PM. Booking and Pickup information: - Pickup is provided from Copenhagen Cruise Terminal and Langeline cruise ship pier with the tour bus. Both pickup and drop-off are included. - Some online services will instantly confirm the booking as it is paid. BUT due to the nature of this tour. The tour is ONLY confirmed when the traveler receives an email confirmation from Ophelia Tours. - You can book your seat on the bus for free. Just contact: seat@opheliatours.com. You must include: Your name, date of tour, and seat number; according to the seat plan in the gallery. Seats will be distributed as 'First come, first served'! (There is no need for a seat reservation for the return trip from Hillerod to the Cruise Terminal.) IMPORTANT PICK-UP INFORMATION ATTENTION; THE DISPLAYED PICKUP TIME IS FOR THE CENTRAL PICKUP POINT (in front of Hotel Astoria/Central Pickup Point) at 0900. - Your specific pickup time will be sent to you in the email that also confirms your final booking. - You will not miss out on your daily tour of the fitness center. • BE AWARE: People in wheelchairs or using walking frames should not choose this tour. Users of cane/walking sticks should be aware that cobblestones are extremely slippery when wet. Please note, that the driver might refuse you on the tour, should you, despite our recommendation, choose this tour. In this case, no refund will be granted. Please be aware that tours with fewer than 6 travelers (for the entire main Summer tour) are most likely to be canceled. (of course, it's 100% money back in case of cancellation).
