You will then walk across the City Hall square where you will see some notable buildings such as the Politikens Hus and the Industriens Hus before you head towards the Tivoli Gardens which date back to the 19th century. As you continue, you will see the National Museum of Denmark which is the largest museum of cultural history in Denmark containing exhibits from around the world. You will then move on to see the exteriors of the Christiansborg palace which houses the Danish parliament where you will see three different types of architecture varying from Neo-baroque style to Neo-classical and also Baroque style. Continue on to the 17th-Century Old Stock exchange where you will get to see Dutch renaissance architecture. The design of the building is credited to Lorentz and Hans van Steenwinckel the Younger. Currently, the building houses the Danish Chamber of commerce. Visit the Stork Fountain which was constructed to mark the silver wedding anniversary of Crown Prince Frederik (VIII) and Crown Princess Louise. It has been a common meeting point for locals. Explore shopping options when you visit Stroget Street which is in-fact a series of different streets, a very long shopping street that runs from the city hall to the Kongens Nytorv square. As you continue, You will reach the Kongens Nytorv square (King’s new square) featuring many buildings and statues for you to admire. Notably, here you will see the statue of Christian V on horseback which is the oldest equestrian statue in Copenhagen. Finish your tour at the New Harbor, a waterfront area stretching about 450 meters along the Nyhavn Canal. Here, you will find many colorful 17th and 18th century townhouses, cafes and restaurants.
