The rooms are miniature, and the bathrooms are absolutely tiny. It was not a big enough space for three adults for a 5 night stay. Our first night we arrived late and there was a putrid smell coming from the bathroom pipes and the room was fairly unclean. In the morning we asked to be moved to a different room. The staff were helpful and moved us to a different room without issue. The same smell came from the second bathroom a few days later though so the hotel must have an issue with their plumbing. There were absolutely no photos advertised of the bathroom and with good reason; they are dollsized. The shower and toilet practically sit on top of eachother and a bucket of water would be a stronger shower pressure than the dribble that came from this shower head. The second issue is that there is no air conditioning in the entire hotel, except for the reception area. This was not ideal as we were staying during summer. Every day and night we kept the balcony window open for air flow but this meant that we could not sleep due to the street noise, as well as the room being very hot even with the window open. On the up side, great location and reasonable price. Pretty much everywhere in the city is walking distance. If you are a single person staying for a night this place is okay, but I would not recommend in the summer or for more than one person for one or two nights. It would be more appropriate to call this place a motel or hostel, it is certainly not a hotel.
This place is about as bare bones as one can get. The rooms are TINY, the bathroom is compact. However, the staff, common areas, breakfast, and location are well worth it! The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Shower water pressure was just right. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We were able to rent a locker to store our bags before our room was ready. We purchased the breakfast which has hot and cold options. The pastries were amazing. The best is the location. You are very close to Tivoli, the train station, and there is a bus stop just steps away. The only downside was the street noise as we kept the window open. If that bothers you, I suggest requesting a courtyard room.
