Reviews
The location is great and staff friendly. Breakfast was really good! However, my room was on the ground floor, and it looked more like a prison cell than a hotel room. To get there, I had to walk through and past Espresso House and its kitchen, and of course the corridor smelled like kitchen, and the floor was dirty. Felt even the staff member was a bit ashamed to show the way to my room. The bed was fine, and it served the purpose of sleeping one night. Won't still come back
Perfektionere When we were looking for a Copenhagen hotel for our 3 night stay, price did not apply as most are expensive, so this review excludes any consideration of price. The best things:- so easy from the airport, actually took longer to walk through airport. Just get train to Kobenhavn H and 5 minute walk Staff smiley and helpful Breakfast is wonderful, it might seem expensive, but compared to Copenhagen restaurant prices its a bargain The Good Things:-We had a superior room, which was big with fridge, sofa, tea making and good size bathroom. It was quiet and I slept like baby. The bar, barman and happy hour Courtyard Not to far from major attractions, 40 minutes to Nyhavn, 30 minutes to Rosenborg Tak
Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2026 for $508 CAD. We booked a Superior Room (room S-06). It was on the first floor and is noisy as the side street is just outside with people walking by. Unfortunately, breakfast was NOT included (we booked thru Expedia). Check in time is officially 4pm but we were able to check in at 3pm. They offer free luggage storage which is nice as some hotels charge for this. There is a nice local playground near the hotel about a 8mins walk away (opposite direction of Tivoli). Hotel is very centrally located and about 5 mins walk to Tivoli. There is a Netto supermarket across the street. The room is large (I see lots of reviews complaining their rooms are small). We were 4 people and it had a king bed with a double sofa bed as well. Bathroom was large as well and had all the amenities we needed included body lotion which is rare to find in hotels. Room was clean as were the linens and towels. The room was quite hot though and there is a thermostat on the wall but adjusting it did nothing for the room temperature so I don't think there is AC. Opening the windows helps but you'll get lots of noise. There is a fridge, iron and ironing board, kettle, coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was soft and squeaky. It was also quite lumpy.
Small rooms with tiny bathrooms where the water gets absolutely everywhere when showering. Walls were paper-thin, and I could easily hear snoring from the room next door. The hair dryer overheated after 20 seconds of usage, and would need to cool down for two minutes before it would give you another 20 seconds of usage. Good breakfast, but the mood in the restaurant was brought down by a young male employee eating there daily while watching video clips on his phone with the volume turned up but without using headphones.
Hotel has received some bad reviews so was sceptical about staying here however! The staff will go above and beyond for you to make you feel comfortable, and have a nice stay, the breakfast buffet has a wide range of hot and cold, fruits, GLUTEN FREE, LACTOSE FREE AND VEGAN!! Now i booked this through Love Holidays who advertised the room i booked (standard king) as having included a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, arm chairs and coffee table etc. However Scandic only offer these on their superior rooms not the standard. So if you want those extra’s go directly through scandic to ensure you get what you book for, Unfortunately there were no superior rooms available to upgrade to but we had use of coffee and tea facilities in the reception area. THE BEDS! Alot of reviews state the beds are uncomfortable and have a mattress topper as a mattress but that isnt the case the mattress is under a Valance sheet and then a topper on top with another sheet and it was extremely comfortable! had a good few nights sleep, bed didn’t creak, didn’t sink into the mattress it was just right. The only down fall i could see would be if you are a light sleeper it can be noisy in the night people going back to their rooms. Would 10000% stay here again due to the friendliness of the staff
