Reviews
A really great choice for a hotel. We were able to check in early, the location was very close to the train station. The room kitted out very well, and the quality of everything was really nice. Only things that let it down was probably the size of the room for the price of it, and the shower was very slow draining to the point of it half flooding the bathroom floor. But all in all, id still go back there!
This hotel is in a great spot. Close to the train station and walking distance to the canals and seaside. Our room had a kitchenette with stove and oven, utensils, etc. The refrigerator was large, and they even had a clothes washer. I don’t know if it had a dryer function, because it’s European. Speaking of which, when we got to our room, it was HOT! The thermostat was set reasonably, but the room was very stuffy. Also, and brilliantly, the thermostat showed where it was set but not the ambient temperature. I’ll explain why below. I walked to registration, since we couldn’t figure what to dial to reach the desk (BTW, it’s 900). The guy at the desk explained that it wasn’t an air conditioner, but rather what he called an air regulator. I think that was the European word for “fan.” He explained that the sun hits that side of the building sometimes making rooms warm. I’ve experienced that at the beaches in Florida, but those places had actual air conditioning. Europe is big on discomfort in support of the environment. Anyway, he told me to turn down the thermostat and hopefully it would cool off. Instead, since it was nice outside, we just opened the windows, which cooled the room quickly and comfortably (despite the sun). I guess that’s why the thermostat doesn’t reflect the actual temperature: you think it’s hot, but you can’t actually get confirmation. Either way, the people we encountered in Copenhagen were all nice, and many spoke enough English to let us feed ourselves. :-D It was a nice stop.
Super cozy and fine design. Has everything needed and in the best quality. We really enjoyed our stay. The cleaning service was very late in the afternoon unfortunately.
