Pros: Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and safe neighborhood. 10 minute walk to Metro, that was very easy to use. Cons: Room is small, only has one char and no storage, does not have fridge or microwave, and is not as close to the cruise terminal as I had thought it was, due to the canals.
Very basic. The room was quiet and clean but feels like a dorm room designed by Ikea. Instant coffee instead of a coffee maker and no safe, closet (just some pegs with hangers on the wall), fridge, microwave or ironing board in room (shared ironing facilities downstairs). Breakfast was solid. Staff was fine, but I wouldn't call them "friendly". Interesting, upcoming location with good (but pricey) food options nearby. Can't possibly give this five stars with so many basics missing. Should be better for the price.
We had a 6 night stay at the hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was acceptable and we had a lot of choices. The staff, from the reception to the cleaning lady's were polite with a genuine smile. The hotel is located in a new developing area. SM, restaurants, bars are around the area. The metro station is in a walking distance. Over all we had a nice.stay.
Had a very nice stay at Fairfield Inn Nordhavn. If you are visiting Copenhagen I would highly recommend staying at this property. Really enjoyed the area on the water and being out of the central core. There are so many excellent places to eat right outside, like Corsa and Kiin Kiin. Breakfast is excellent. There is an abundant selection and lots of comfortable areas to sit and enjoy your meal. We had a really nice, quiet room. One comment is I found the mattress to be too soft. We also rented bikes from the hotel. I would not visit Copenhagen again, it is a ridiculous amount of expensive and I thought it was just an ok European city. But if you do decide to come stay here.
I stayed pre-cruise for a couple of nights and was upgraded to a water view room from the courtyard, thanks to my Gold Marriott Bonvoy status. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. It was fresh and high-quality. The hotel is in a new, up-and-coming area, a bit further from the tourist spots but closer to the cruise terminal. There are still some great restaurants and even supermarkets nearby if you’d like to bring food back to your room. The staff were polite, though perhaps not overly friendly. However, all interactions were professional and courteous.
