Reviews
Absolutely incredible. Perfect location. So close to the station/Metro and withing walking distance (10-25 mins) for a range of places. Staff were fantastic. All were so friendly and nice and helped us when we needed it, including with a non-emergency medical event. Love the 5pm happy hour (free drink). Breakfast was great, including for vegetarian/vegan family members. Great tea, too! Comfortable bed with good linens, nice bathroom, and an all-round clean hotel. Highly, highly recommend!
Great place to stay with very easy access to the metro. Overall I would stay again for the ease of location and value. A few cons: the room was very small (barely space to open my suitcase), and the walls were very thin as the building is old (could hear everything in the hallway). These things are to be expected in older buildings though so I personally was not upset, but I’m noting it here for anyone who may be a light sleeper or need more space.
My wife, daughter and myself booked a junior suite 4 nights. Really spacious, well decorated. Lots of choice for breakfast, including gluten free options. Free coffee/tea all day, with free glass of wine/pastries in the evening. Staff really friendly and helpful. Two minutes walk from the train station and close to lots of cafes/shops.
This is a fantastic hotel. A real gem. The international staff are fantastic (all speak excellent English along with their mother tongue) the organic breakfast is vast and delicious and our room was a sheer delight. We are here for 4 nights with just carry on luggage, if staying for longer with more luggage I would suggest booking one of the larger rooms. 5pm every evening is free wine 🍷o’clock with pastries. Free Nespresso coffee is on tap 24/7 along with a delicious selection of organic Emeyu ( https://emeyu.com/ ) tea ☕️ as is hot chocolate and ordinary tea. Our favourite was Midnight Sun. If only the hotel sold it to guests (understand only available to public online). Hotel is just a 5 min walk from central train station and on the edge of Copenhagen’s Meatpackers’ district with its myriad of great independent eating places (check out Warpig for that smokehouse BBQ experience and MOTHER for wood fired oven pizza). What more can I say, the best city break hotel we have ever stayed in. Almost forgot. If you forgo daily room cleaning 🧹 you get a 100DKK voucher (for each day. Our 4 night stay = 3 vouchers) for use in the bar of their sister hotel the Absolon directly opposite on other side of the road.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect for me, close to everything I needed, but still somehow super quiet. I slept so well every night, which honestly made the whole trip feel better. Mornings were a highlight. The breakfast was simple but really good, and the coffee was exactly what I needed to start the day (and actually worth waking up for). Overall, it just felt like the best, comfortable place to be. I’d definitely come back.
