A lovely hotel right on the water at the beginning of Nyhavn canal.
Wow, I haven't even finished my stay yet, but the service has been so extraordinary here, that I have to rave. From helping with parking my car to the front desk encouraging us to go for the late breakfast (since its our vacation after all!), the staff has been so friendly and generous. Not to mention the views and location. But while other hotels might get by on that alone, this one puts real effort into hospitality first. I have rarely felt so welcome and relieved to arrive! Thank you 71 Nyhavn!
Our stay at 71 Nyhavn this late June 2026 was a delight. The hotel's location and the pedestrianized streets made getting to/from CPH very easy. We were able to rent a bicycle and explore the city and sightsee as well. Special shout-out to Mads, who helped me with the booking and special birthday arrival for our day one. Mads was very responsive and helped me set up my member ID for future visits (we will be back!) And the breakfast was another reason for booking after the hotel location. Kudos to the chefs making the omelets, so delicious; everything on the buffet table was fresh and delicious. Weather permitting, and you get to sit outside, do it! We checked in/out with ease; we had no issues with WiFi; the room was cleaned daily, without fuss; we had two fantastic dinners at the hotel restaurant, Il Molo. Giovanni Claudio and Ted were warm, funny, and professional as ever during a busy dinner time. Note: We were in Denmark during an unprecedentedly warm weekend, with temperatures over 30 °C. Our first room had an AC issue, and we were promptly moved to another room while maintenance was called. Reminder that it's Europe, and the smaller styled, lower air-conditioned rooms and other norms are often different from what you are used to, so this hotel was great for the price point/value and centrally located to experience the city and country.
What an absolute wonderful hotel!! Matilda at the front desk was amazing. So kind, knowledgeable and accommodating! She made our stay one to remember! The hotel grounds are spotless, our room was so incredibly clean. All the details, no dirty corners, the polished bathroom floor and truly white caulk. Nice job maintenance and cleaning crew. The views of the harbor with all boats and the steady stream of bikes going across the bridge was just wonderful to watch. The bed was a 10 and you can ask for whatever pillow meets your desired comfort. The morning breakfast was second to none! The Omelettes were magical the pastries were better than delicious! Thank you Nyhavn Hotel staff for such a job well done!!
Absolutely beautiful rooms with several windows looking out onto the harbor. Elegant, tasteful and above all Hygge. Staff are professional and helpful. The restaurant dining room connected to the hotel is a dream. This is a place to spend high quality time with loved ones. See you next year 71 Nyhavn.
